Always learning

DevOps is a philosophy, not a particular set of tools. Virtualization doesn't automatically increase velocity. Containerization alone doesn't reduce risk. The public cloud doesn't always reduce cost. An effective strategy requires an intuitive understanding of how DevOps delivers value. Once grokked, with some creativity, those same hard-learned lessons from Lean Manufacturing can even be applied to legacy ERP.
